| BUDDY WALK OVERVIEW |

| Buddy Walks were started in 1995 to help promote awareness and inclusion for persons with Down syndrome. Our goal is promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome. |
|
| The Buddy Walk is for anyone who has Down syndrome, anyone who knows someone with Down syndrome and especially for those who want to show their support for any person who has a disability. |
|
| The proceeds from the Omaha Buddy Walk go to support local non profits and the programs sponsored by ODSPN including New Parents Packets, Social Events, Educational Seminars and Bimonthly Newsletters. |

There are two easy ways to sign up:

- To register by mail download the Buddy Walk Registration Form

Please Note
- Each paid registrant receives a Buddy Walk T-Shirt.
- Early registration should be postmarked by September 28, 2007 or completed online by Noon CDT October 3.
- All walkers who pre-register (online or mail in) should check in the morning of the walk to receive their Buddy Walk T-shirt and turn in any pledge money.

| Where does the money raised at the Buddy Walk go? |
| The proceeds from the Buddy Walk go to the National Down Syndrome Society, to local non profits and to fund the programs of ODSPN. |

| Can I walk if I don’t register? |
| Yes. You can come out and show your support but you will not receive a t-shirt. |

| Do I need to know someone with Down syndrome to participate in a Buddy Walk? |
| Not at all. The goal of the Buddy Walk is to promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does or just want to show your support, come and join the Buddy Walk. |

| Not everyone in my family is able to walk a mile. Are they still able to participate? |
| Absolutely. Buddy Walks are open to participants of all ages and abilities.
If you can’t walk, you can be a member of the cheering section and cheer on the walkers as they Buddy Walk by. |

| How will I receive my prize? |
| Prizes will be mailed after the walk to the address you put on your registration. |
